Objective
Support the launch of Polaris RZR’s OEM customization program with high-impact 3D visuals that highlight available upgrade options. The goal was to show customers how they could personalize their RZR at the time of purchase—using detailed, cinematic animation that matches the vehicle’s off-road performance.
Approach
Working from Polaris’s CAD data, I rebuilt the RZR model from the ground up to create a production-ready 3D asset. This involved:
• Complete retopology for animation-friendly geometry
• UV unwrapping to enable custom materials and decals
• Development of modular materials for parts, accessories, and upgrades
• Environment design, studio lighting, and rendering setups
Outcome
The final rendered sequences were featured in a launch video showcasing the breadth of RZR’s customization options. The visuals made it easy for potential buyers to understand what’s possible—and made the upgrade path feel premium, accessible, and exciting.
